Snickerdoodle Baked donuts
Hey Whiskers,
So its the Jewish holiday of Hanukkah and as with all holidays we attach some kind of cooking method or type of food to eat.So the holiday of lights is also known as the holiday of frying. Now between my balance issues with standing over a frying pan for a long time, dealing with a yeasted dough, and just the plain old amount of calories in frying donuts,I wanted to find a recipe that would remove most of these issues and still be delicious. My awesome mom had found a mini donut pan and I set off to find some recipes to change around and make my own. So i stumbled upon this great recipe for a cinnamon donuts,I added some more spices and when my family tried them (more like pounded them),the donut reminded them of a family favorite cookie, the snicker doodle. This is a really easy recipe start to finish didn't take me longer than 30 minutes.Give it a go and let me know how they taste.
